Gary UMC in Wheaton to host book launch and signing
On Sunday, Sept. 28, Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton is hosting a book launch and signing for Beth Felker Jones’ new book, “Why I Am Protestant.”
In her new book, the author and theologian at Northern Seminary asks, “What does it mean to be Protestant? How can its strengths shape faith in the modern world, and how should its challenges be addressed?”
The book launch and signing will be at 10:10 a.m. Felker Jones will teach a class based on her book on Sundays, Sept. 21 to Oct. 5 at 10:10 a.m. at the church, 224 N. Main St.
