Vacant Mount Prospect office building getting neuro clinic, spa

A new business offering neurological services, personal training, and skin care is moving into a Mount Prospect office building that until recently had been vacant for three years.

Mount Prospect trustees recently voted in favor allowing Dr. Skin Lab Inc. to operate under the name Estheras Neuro Clinic and Spa at 1250 W. Northwest Highway, Suite 101.

An amendment to the property’s planned unit development was needed because medical offices are allowed in the building, but personal training and skin care services require additional approval. Over the years, the building has held various professional and medical office users.

The business will provide valuable health services and occupy underutilized office space, property owner Jonghyun An told the village’s planning and zoning commission, which unanimously recommended the proposal.

Jeong Ho Ryu, a licensed physician and surgeon will treat neurological conditions at the office. He also practices at an office in Park Ridge.

Sungwoo Park, a personal trainer, will serve Ryu’s clients. Cham Hee Choi, a licensed esthetician, will offer the spa service, focusing on anti-aging skin care, including cosmetic serums and creams.
