Join in ‘Bike to Church Sunday’ at Gary UMC in Wheaton

Enjoy the last weekend of summer with a bike ride to church on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton.

Park your bike at the church bike rack, worship in the sanctuary at 9 a.m., and enjoy refreshments and fellowship at 10 a.m. Even if it’s not “Bike to Church Sunday,” the church invites you to bike to worship on any Sunday.

The church at 224 N. Main St. has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions.

This summer, the church offers worship at 9 a.m., including Kids’ Church. At 10 a.m. there’s a coffee fellowship hour, plus the chapel is available for prayer and reflection. Starting Sunday, Sept. 7, the church will restart its second service at 11:11 a.m., along with Sunday school for all ages between services.
