Chamber Music on the Fox unveils 2025-26 season lineup
Chamber Music on the Fox announced its 2025-26 season on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
Entitled “Snapshots in Sound,” the five-concert subscription series brings audiences a year of music that celebrates and uplifts meaningful moments in life. Whether it’s celebrating a special occasion with a loved one, communing with nature, or simply taking time to be in community with others, these concerts aim to celebrate the integral part music plays in all of these moments.
This October, Chamber Music on the Fox comes home to its flagship cities of Elgin and Aurora to start the season. Audiences will enjoy beloved chamber music classics in an intimate quartet program full of cherished classics and local talent.
In December, Chamber Music on the Fox rings in the holidays with Axiom Brass. This Chicago-based brass ensemble is known for their dedication to “living music,” performing not only timeless classics but also highlighting the works of contemporary composers to bring audiences a program full of variety and holiday cheer.
February’s concert celebrates the season of romance with “Heartstrings,” curated by violinist Eleanor Bartsch and centered around love, romance, and the deep connections we can have with one another through music.
In April, listeners can connect with nature as Chicago Harp Quartet brings together the elements of nature and harmony in one beautiful concert experience, “Sounds of the Earth.”
The season finale is “Resonant Voices,” with guest curator Eric Pidluski, which will highlight and celebrate the composers and musicians of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as their profound contributions to the realm of classical music.
Chamber Music on the Fox, now in its 12th season, is dedicated to bringing the best of chamber music experiences to the Fox Valley neighborhoods. Each subscription series features a variety of musicians and repertoire, and each concert is a unique, intimate musical experience.
Chamber Music on the Fox looks forward to welcoming audience members from throughout the Fox Valley for another year of inspiring concerts and musical moments together.
