Give summer a send-off at Back to School Bash in Rolling Meadows
Before the hustle and bustle of school routines and fall calendars return, spend an evening savoring summer at the Rolling Meadows Park District’s Back to School Bash.
Set for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Florey Park, 3300 Campbell St., Rolling Meadows. The event is free, featuring live music, an interactive bubble show with Glowby the Bubbler, face painting, a bounce house, a visit from the Kona Ice truck, and a variety of outdoor games and activities.
Presented by Duly Health and Care in Schaumburg, Back to School Bash is an ideal way to enjoy the end of summer and make great memories, said Sydney Szukala, recreation supervisor for special events and community engagement.
“Back to School Bash gives us an opportunity to celebrate this season with the community as we gear up for all the fun and adventures that await in the fall,” Szukala said. “This is an evening families won’t want to miss.”
Gold sponsors include Oak Street Health, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and Village Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank.
