Kiddie Academy breaks ground in Vernon Hills

Kiddie Academy, which provides educational child care, recently broke ground on a new franchise location at 320 N. Fairway Lane in Vernon Hills.

The Vernon Hills franchise is owned and operated by Preeti and Vic Gulati, who also own Kiddie Academy sites in Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect.

“We chose Vernon Hills because we truly believe in the power of this community,” said Preeti Gulati. “As local residents and parents ourselves, we understand what families are looking for, which is a safe, high-quality and nurturing environment where children can thrive, grow curious and feel safe. We’re here to build just that.”

Set to open in early 2026, the 11,000-square-foot academy will feature 10 modern classrooms, a state-of-the-art indoor gym to support imaginative play and physical development, and a dedicated STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) room to spark innovation and discovery.

It will include an 11,000-square-foot natural playground with a basketball court and soccer field and will be equipped with the latest security and learning technologies.

The Vernon Hills center will serve 145 children ages 6 months to 6 years and is expected to add 35 new jobs to the community.

“We’re thrilled to be part of Vernon Hills,” said Vic Gulati. “This isn’t just another learning center; it’s a place where children will explore, families will connect, and futures will be built.”
