Marcus Theatres debuts Sneak Peek Theatre at Addison Cinema
Moviegoers are in for a surprise this summer as Marcus Theatres introduces an innovative and totally free new entertainment concept!
The Sneak Peek Theatre debuted at the Marcus Addison Cinema in Addison, Illinois in June and is the place to check out what’s cool this summer.
Unlike traditional movie auditoriums, the Sneak Peek Theatre is a free, come-and-go-as-you-please auditorium, showcasing a constantly rotating lineup of:
• Upcoming movie trailers
• Hilarious viral clips and trending content
• Exclusive behind-the-scenes Marcus Theatres features
• And more surprises to discover with each visit, including blink and you’ll miss it moments and even prizes to win, like free popcorn or other food and beverage treats.
“This is something fresh and fun for our guests, a little unexpected and completely free,” said Greg Marcus, CEO, Marcus Corporation. “It reminds me of one of my favorite movie quotes: ‘Life is like a box of chocolates … you never know what you’re gonna get.’ That’s exactly the spirit of the Sneak Peek Theatre.”
Serving as a pilot program, the Marcus Addison Cinema is one of two locations to test the concept, allowing Marcus Theatres to explore new ways of enriching the moviegoing experience beyond the traditional big-screen feature. The other location is at the Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
