Northbrook Chamber to host Cook County Source Connecting Meetings

The Northbrook Chamber of Commerce has announced its role as a regional host for the Cook County Source Connecting Meetings, a new initiative to directly connect local businesses with Cook County’s wide range of small business resources, grants and technical support services.

The Connecting Meetings are designed to help entrepreneurs and business owners navigate available opportunities through The Source, Cook County’s centralized platform for small business assistance. These in-person events provide direct access to representatives from the County’s Economic Development team, who will walk participants through funding programs, networking resources, and business-building tools.

“We are excited to serve as a hub for Cook County’s small business outreach,” said Kathi Quinn, president of the Northbrook Chamber. “These meetings are a powerful way to make sure our members — and all local businesses — know how to tap into the support and funding available to help them grow and succeed. This outreach is part of our mission.”

Through its partnership with Cook County, the Northbrook Chamber will host multiple meetings through fall 2025, each offering personalized guidance, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities.

The first Connecting Meeting will take place on July 23, 2025 at the Northbrook Chamber office, located at 2002 Walters Ave., with additional dates to follow on their event page. All businesses in the Cook County region — not just chamber members — are encouraged to attend.
