Gary UMC raising funds for Texas flood victims through bracelet sales
This weekend, families from Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton will drive to Pine Lake Camp in Westfield, Wisconsin for a time growing closer to God and each other through nature, worship and play.
What’s different this year — they will also be making bracelets to raise money for Texas flooding victims.
You can purchase a bracelet the morning of Sunday, July 27, at the Wheaton church or donate through garychurch.org/give.
Proceeds will go to organizations like First United Methodist Church of Kerrville, Texas, which is providing shelter to those in need. Suggested donation of $5 per “Kerr County” bracelet.
