St. Charles Kiwanis accepting grant applications

The St. Charles Kiwanis Club is currently accepting grant applications for the 2026 fiscal year which begins Oct. 1.

The club awards grants to over 30 area organizations that benefit children in need in St. Charles and/or St. Charles Unit District 303.

Among other criteria, the application asks for the specific project or program for which the grant will be used, financial statements, that organizations operate without discrimination, and that they inform the club of any service or volunteer opportunities available. Only children's programs, not including general administrative expenses, will be funded.

All past grant recipients received an email on July 2 directing them to the link k05875.site.kiwanis.org/grants-for-local-non-profits/ for instructions on completing the application. New applicants are always welcome. Applications must be received by Friday, Aug. 15.

The mission of Kiwanis is to serve the children of the world, one child and one community at a time. For more information, visit the club's website, k05875.site.kiwanis.org.
