DuPage County Historical Museum receives grant
The DuPage County Historical Museum has received a $3,000 grant from Arts DuPage of the DuPage Foundation for its 2025 recollection and reflection-themed exhibits and programming.
The three exhibits include “Cabinet of Curiosities: Museum Artifact Exploration” (Sept. 13 to May 30, 2026), “Woven Together: Coverlets and Community in DuPage County” (July 12 to April 11, 2026) and “Tense Times: The Cold War in DuPage County” (Through March 21, 2026).
The free museum is at 102 E. Wesley Street in Wheaton in a Romanesque-style building that opened in 1891 as Adams Memorial Library. It is home to more than 40,000 artifacts, including a photography archive of more than 10,000 images.
