Barrington to celebrate Fourth of July — and 10th anniversary of Barrington’s White House
Barrington’s Fourth of July celebration will include the usual traditions of a parade, fireworks and brat tent, as well as a special open house to mark the 10th anniversary of Barrington’s White House.
This year’s festivities begin Wednesday, July 2, and culminate in a fireworks display on Friday, July 4, at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St. The celebration offers a chance to enjoy long-standing traditions while also commemorating a decade of community, culture and history at one of Barrington’s landmarks.
“This year, we’re proud to not only celebrate our nation’s independence, but also a decade of history and culture at Barrington’s White House,” said Village President Mike Moran.
“The White House has become a cherished gathering place for our community, and we invite everyone to enjoy the many events that bring us together in the spirit of pride, tradition and fun.”
All events are free and open to the public. The Lions Club Brat Tent will charge a cash-only cover at the door after 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, and Saturday, July 5.
