Advocate Lutheran General Hospital opens retail pharmacy

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital has opened a new retail pharmacy in Park Ridge.

The pharmacy offers prescription fulfillment, over-the-counter products and immunizations, including flu shots, located on campus. Patients can leave the hospital with their medications in hand, officials said.

“We’re excited to offer this added convenience for our patients and community,” said Allison Wyler, president of Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. “The Advocate Pharmacy provides a more integrated approach to care, ensuring patients have what they need before heading home.”

The pharmacy also is open for the community for filling or refilling medications and is available for use by hospital teammates. It is on the first floor of the hospital, next to the Flower Shop and across from Panera Bread.
