Food truck and live music coming to downtown Lisle in June

Food Truck Socials are rolling into downtown Lisle this June. Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, family, and friends to join the village on Wednesdays, June 4-25.

The weekly event featuring a variety of food trucks and live music, plus community connection and outdoor fun, will be 4:30 to 8 p.m. in Commuter Lot B, 1001 Burlington Ave.

Family-friendly live musical performances will be held by the following local musicians:

• June 4 — Dillon Riley

• June 11 — Matt Shukin

• June 18 — Bryan Tapella

• June 25 — Nicole Devine

Ten food truck vendors are scheduled for the first event on June 4: Da Pizza Dude, Cousin's Maine Lobster, My Funnel Truck and Lemonade, Hello Boba, Cheesie's Truck, San Judas, Pierogi Rig Chicago, Nettle Creek Foods Inc., Limoni Belli, and Taste Greek Street Food.

The event is presented in partnership with Bensidoun USA Inc. Free parking is available in any of the commuter lots after 2 p.m.

The Beer and Now, a craft beer taproom and bottle shop in Lisle, will be providing adult beverages for purchase; must be 21 or older. No pets are allowed, but service animals are welcome. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
