Schaumburg public works open house May 31

Schaumburg will host an Engineering and Public Works Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at the department’s facility, 714 S. Plum Grove Road.

The event will offer a fun, hands-on look at how the village maintains its infrastructure. Visitors can explore trucks and tools and see equipment demonstrations. There also will be giveaways and snacks, as well as Kona Ice available for purchase.
