ESO String Quartet to perform in Schaumburg
The Elgin Symphony Orchestra will bring its String Quartet to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. Friday, May 23, for a concert featuring works by Haydn, Shostakovich, and Mendelssohn.
Featured musicians include violinists Eric Pidluski and Helen Kim Lee, violist Rebecca Swan, and cellist Sara Sitzer.
The concert will be held in the church’s Christian Life Center at 930 W. Higgins Road, Schaumburg, and is part of the ESO Presents series that offers small ensemble concerts in intimate settings.
General admission tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased at ElginSymphony.org, by phone at (847) 888-4000 during ESO Box Office hours, or in person at the Elgin Symphony Orchestra Box Office at 20 DuPage Court in Elgin. The ESO Box Office is open 10 a.m. — 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
