Wheaton church kicks off ‘Dreams’ sermon series

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton kicked off its sermon series, “Seeing Visions and Dreaming Dreams.”

During May, pastors will focus on the Book of Acts, showing how God breaks down barriers, uses unexpected people and sends us to unexpected places.

The pastors will show how God is for everyone. They will ask people to discern how God is calling you to be led by the Holy Spirit to continue to share the good news in word and deed.

The church at 224 N. Main St. has music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions. The church offers worship at 9 and 11:11 a.m. Between services, there’s Sunday school for all ages, a coffee fellowship hour, plus the chapel is available for prayer and reflection.
