Vernon Hills Park District board vacancy
Applicants are sought to fill a vacancy on the Vernon Hills Park District board for the term expiring in May 2027.
Regular meetings are at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. Commissioners develop policies, long-range plans, procedures and regulations, monitor finances and programs and ensure effective stewardship and management.
Applicants must be registered voters and have lived in the district for at least a year.
Submit a letter of interest detailing qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve and a current resume or summary of relevant experience by 5 p.m. Friday, May 9, via email to ddoerhoefer@vhparkdistrict.org or Vernon Hills Park District, attention David Doerhoefer, president, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.
