Boys volleyball team at St. Mary School-Elgin completes first undefeated season

St. Mary Catholic School in Elgin made history on Monday, April 28, completing their first undefeated boys volleyball season with a thrilling victory over the team from St. Patrick Catholic School in St. Charles.

The Titans team clinched first place in the boys volleyball tournament, capping off a remarkable season of dominance and teamwork.

Coached by Tom Lynch, St. Mary’s team showed skill, determination, and unity throughout the season, winning every match and setting a new standard for excellence in the program’s history.

The championship game was no exception, as the team maintained their composure and played with heart to secure the win.

Coach Lynch praised his players for their dedication and sportsmanship, calling the undefeated run “a testament to their hard work and commitment all season long.”
