3 hurt in single-vehicle crash in Lake in the Hills

Three people suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash Monday night in Lake in the Hills.
Huntley Fire Protection District officials said none of the three needed to be extricated from the four-door sedan before they were transported to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital.
The crash occurred just before 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Haligus Road and Geneva Lane.
Lake in the Hills police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
