Local experts to host Pregnancy & Postpartum Wellness Event in Crystal Lake

Smith Physical Therapy + and Crystal Lake Family Wellness are hosting an informative and engaging event focused on pregnancy and postpartum wellness. This event will feature expert presentations from Maureen Gies-Strasser of Smith Physical Therapy + and Dr. Emily Young of Crystal Lake Family Wellness.

Gies-Strasser will dive into why pelvic health matters and how to maintain strength and stability through every stage of motherhood.

Dr. Young will highlight the benefits of chiropractic care, including the Webster technique, and how it can support a more comfortable pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

In addition to expert presentations, local businesses that cater to pregnancy and postpartum wellness will be on-site to share valuable resources and services.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 22, at Smith Physical Therapy + Crystal Lake Clinic, 110 W Woodstock St., Unit A, Crystal Lake.

This free event is open to the public and ideal for expecting mothers, new moms, healthcare professionals, and community members interested in pregnancy and postpartum wellness.
