Book a maple syrup hike at Ryerson Conservation Center in Riverwoods
Registration is open for maple syrup hikes at the Edward L. Ryerson Conservation Area, 21950 N. Riverwoods Road, Riverwoods.
Time slots are available every 30 minutes between 12 to 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from March 1 to March 16.
Meet at the Ryerson Woods Welcome Center. All ages are welcome to learn how sugar maple trees produce sap that become syrup.
Email AskAnEducator@LCFPD.org with questions or to inquire about accommodations. Cost is $7 for Lake County residents and $9 for nonresidents. School programs are available in person or online.
