Public meeting for Riverwoods Road and Duffy Lane ‘3R’ project

Alternatives for the Riverwoods Road and Duffy Lane “3R” — resurface, restore and rehabilitate — project in southeastern Lake County will be presented at a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Marriott Lincolnshire, 10 Marriott Drive.

The meeting will be in an open house format with exhibits on display and team members available to discuss the project and answer questions. The project area is Riverwoods Road from Deerfield Road to Route 22 and Duffy Lane from Riverwoods Road to the west of the I-94 bridge. Work is expected to include a new asphalt surface, evaluation of wider road shoulders, improved drainage and new paths. Comments and questions can be submitted during the meeting or online.
