Police reveal identity of three killed in fiery Glenview crash

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has released the identities of three people killed in a fiery crash in Glenview on Sunday.

They are Wesley Beitler and Bryce Reinhard, both 22 and of Aurora, and Khaliunaa Mungunkhuu, 20, of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.

Glenview police and firefighters responding to a report of a single-vehicle crash found the three trapped inside a vehicle engulfed in flames around 4:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of West Lake Avenue and Pfingsten Road.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, but all three occupants were dead.

Glenview police said the department’s traffic unit is investigating the cause of the crash. They are receiving assistance from the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force Major Crash Assistance Team.
