How to understand and enjoy spring bird migration in the Chicago area

The Lake County Audubon Society will sponsor a free talk featuring noted birder Adam Sell at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at Aspen Drive Library, 701 N. Aspen Dr., Vernon Hills.

The talk focuses on helping novice birders understand the dynamics of spring migration help them decide where to go birding. The talk will cover the basics of migration timing and expected species, weather and its effects on birds/birding, and how to make the most of birding in spring.
