Lisle offering grants to support special events

Lisle is offering grants to help encourage new and expand existing special events in the village.

Nonprofit organizations, community groups and businesses are invited to apply online for the grants. The application deadline is March 28.

The current grant cycle is intended to support special events or programs occurring between May 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026, to coincide with the fiscal 2025 budget.

The grant program is designed to assist organizations in holding special events that focus on the following: providing cultural, recreational and educational enrichment; celebrating the community’s diversity, history and heritage; offering entertainment opportunities and/or featuring the arts; enhancing pride and a sense of community; promoting a positive image of the village; and drawing residents and visitors to support local dining, shopping, attractions and hotel stays.
