Burglars hit Park Ridge ice cream shop

Three masked burglars stole a cash register out of a Park Ridge business early Tuesday, police said.

The trio got into Triple Scoop’d Ice Cream Shop, 801 Devon Ave., at about 2:45 a.m. by smashing the glass front door with a brick, police said.

The burglars wore dark clothes, hooded sweatshirts and dark masks, police said.

The break-in was caught on surveillance video.
