New Year’s Eve family party at Sullivan center in Vernon Hills

Celebrate New Year’s Eve family-style from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Dr., Vernon Hills. The Vernon Hills park District event will feature a DJ, open gym and a countdown at 6 p.m. Food is available for purchase. Registration is required for all participants over 2 years old. Children 2 and under are free. Fee is $7. Registrations can be completed online at www.vhparkdistrict.org, mail-in or drop-off at the Sullivan center or Lakeview Fitness, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills.
