Woodridge woman on ‘Wheel of Fortune’

A Woodridge resident will appear on the television game show “Wheel of Fortune.”

Patty Spano says she will be in the episode scheduled to air at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.

Spano is a longtime fan of the show.

“I've watched ‘Wheel of Fortune’ with my family for as long as I can remember,” Spano said in a news release. “My mother used to watch the show every night, and it became a cherished family tradition.”

According to the news release, her dream of spinning the wheel and solving puzzles came true when Spano was selected as a contestant earlier this year. Family and friends say they are proud of Spano and what she accomplished.

The show is broadcast on Channel 7, the local ABC affiliate.
