St. Emily School Honors Veterans

St. Emily School in Mount Prospect honored local veterans on Friday, Nov. 15. The celebration began at the all school mass where they were given a special blessing and cards made by the students. Afterwards they were treated to a special breakfast and reception which featured, prayers, poems, a video and a question and answer session with the students in fourth through eighth grades. The hall was adorned with red, white and blue decorations and posters made by the students.

St. Emily is a Catholic elementary school in Mount Prospect serving pre-kindergarten through eighth grades.
