Trinity Episcopal Church has launched its 150th anniversary celebration, marking a century and a half of faith and service to the Wheaton community.

The year 2025 will feature a full calendar of commemorative events designed to bring the community together and celebrate this historic milestone.

Here’s a preview of a few calendar highlights:

• Kickoff event: Christmas Boutique on Sunday, Dec. 8

Start the season with holiday cheer at the Christmas Boutique! Special merchandise has been created to honor this anniversary and provide gift-giving opportunities, including custom-designed ornaments, golf balls, baseball caps, and Trinity-themed name art. The boutique will open at 9 a.m. in the parlor and remain open during the annual Advent Brunch. Stay tuned for the launch of the online store!

• Turn Back Time Weekend on Feb. 8-9

Relive 1959 with a recreation of the dedication of Trinity Episcopal Church. All services this weekend will feature vintage vestments worn by clergy, and attendees are invited to join in the fun by dressing in their best 1950s attire. After the 10 a.m. service, a festive reception will be held in Millet Hall.

• 150 @130: A Celebration in Words & Music on April 27

Experience an afternoon of inspiration and joy with a special program of words and music, featuring Trinity’s parish vocal choir, bell ensemble, and guest performers from the Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus. Soloists also will make special appearances. This event is free and open to the public, with a celebratory reception to follow.
