Gary UMC’s Holiday Cookie Walk on Dec. 7 to raise money for missions

The Holiday Cookie Walk at Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton on Saturday, Dec. 7 is an opportunity to purchase homemade cookies for gifts, gatherings and good.

The walk is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the church commons, 224 N. Main St. Choose your favorite cookies in a three-pound box for $30 or a smaller box for $18. Proceeds will help fund missions.

The church, founded in 1853, has vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions. The church offers worship at 9 and 11:11 a.m. In-between services, there’s Sunday school for all ages, a coffee fellowship hour, plus the chapel is available for prayer and reflection.
