Wheaton’s Gary UMC offers class on sacraments and membership vows

In this class, you’ll learn about communion, baptism and membership vows.

Led by the Rev. Steve Conger, “Belong: An Exploration of the Sacraments and Membership Vows” will enrich your understanding of the sacraments and what it means to belong. The class is offered on Sundays through Nov. 17 at 10:10 a.m. at Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main St. in Wheaton.

The church has celebrated deep roots in the community since 1853. It has music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions. The church offers worship at 9 a.m. and 11:11 a.m. In-between services, there’s Sunday school for all ages, a coffee fellowship hour, plus the chapel is available for prayer and reflection. For more information, go to garychurch.org or contact the church office at office@garychurch.org.
