High winds topple gas station canopy in Crystal Lake
No injuries were reported when high winds toppled a canopy covering gas pumps at a Shell station Thursday night in Crystal Lake.
Two vehicles were struck and damaged by the canopy, including one vehicle that was occupied.
Police officials said they were called to the gas station on the 200 block of Virginia Street just after 8:30 p.m.
No damage estimate is available.
