GPS partners with College of DuPage for Great Read Series
The GPS Parent Series: Navigating Healthy Families will partner with College of DuPage to host Silvia Moreno-Garcia, author of “Gods of Jade and Shadow” on Monday, Oct. 28.
This event will be held at 6 p.m. in room 2000 in the Student Resource Center at COD, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. Go to the GPS Parent Series website, gpsparentseries.org/events/silvia-moreno-garcia/, for information.
The Great Read Series at COD is designed to provide students the chance to see themselves within literature, highlighting contemporary voices, and encouraging everyone to learn from and listen to a new perspective.
Moreno-Garcia is the author of a number of critically acclaimed novels, including “Mexican Gothic” and “Velvet Was the Night.”
