College of Lake County seeking applicants for board seat

The College of Lake County is seeking candidates for a board vacancy opened by the resignation of Gerri Songer, whose term expires April 2027.

The replacement will serve until a successor is elected April 1 to serve the remainder of the unexpired term. Candidates must be 18 or older, a U.S. citizen and district resident for at least a year.

Send a one-page letter to board Chair Torrie Mark Newsome, c/o Laura Laba, executive assistant to the president, College of Lake County, Room C215, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake or llaba@clcillinois.edu. Include a statement of interest, relevant qualifications and experience and any affiliations you have or have had with the collage.

Applications must be received by 4 p.m. Nov. 8.
