Women@Rust-Oleum volunteer and donate cleaning products to Northern Illinois Food Bank
Thirteen Rust-Oleum team members of the Women@Rust-Oleum group volunteered at the Northern Illinois Food Bank to help inspect, sort, and pack 6,500 pounds of food that will result in 5,416 meals for hungry residents in counties throughout northern Illinois.
The company also donated 300 bottles of Krud Kutter, a powerful all-purpose cleaner that tackles tough stains and grime, to help increase the accessibility of Safer Choice certified cleaning products.
For the second year in a row, Rust-Oleum has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a Safer Choice Partner of the Year.
This honor reflects Rust-Oleum’s ongoing commitment to developing, manufacturing, and promoting cleaning products that incorporate safer chemical ingredients.
The Women@Rust-Oleum are dedicated to connecting associates and driving community engagement.
“Northern Illinois Food Bank is serving more neighbors than ever before. We are deeply grateful for Rust-Oleum’s ongoing support and partnership,” said Maeven Sipes, chief philanthropy officer, Northern Illinois Food Bank. “Together, we can ensure our neighbors have the resources they need to thrive.”
