Gary UMC in Wheaton to host Trunk-or-Treat Oct. 26

Gary United Methodist Church in Wheaton will host its annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Treats will be served from the trunks of churchgoers’ decorated vehicles from 10 a.m. to noon in the church parking lot, 224 N. Main St. The community is invited to dress in costume, vote for your favorite trunk, and collect candy

The church has celebrated deep roots in the community since 1853. It provides vibrant music, kids, youth and adult ministries, plus opportunities for local, national and global missions. The church offers Sunday worship at 9 and 11:11 a.m. In-between services, there’s Sunday school for all ages, a coffee fellowship hour, plus the chapel is available for prayer and reflection.
