Historical Society of Island Lake presents ‘True Crimes of Lake County’

The Historical Society of Island Lake invites the community to join them for a fascinating program featuring true crime stories of Lake County, ranging from the Rondout Train Robbery to the Fox Lake Massacre. Nichole Stocker from the Bess Bower Dunn Museum of Lake County will present the facts about several true crimes.

The program will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Island Lake Village Hall, 3720 Greenleaf venue.

Free admission; donations will be accepted. Light refreshments will be served.
