Share your community event in Daily Herald’s 2024 Holiday Happenings guide

Are you a town, park district or organization offering some holiday fun in the suburbs?

The holidays will be here before you know it. Get your Thanksgiving 5Ks, craft fairs, holiday fests, tree lightings, holiday walks, Nutcracker shows, Breakfast with Santa, or other family events into the Daily Herald Holiday Happenings guide, publishing Nov. 10.

The guide features events in the suburban Chicago area, from Nov. 10 through New Year’s Day. These should be nonprofit events, although it's OK if there's an admission fee.

To be included, go to dailyherald.com/share, click on “Event” and follow the directions to enter your event in our affiliate’s online calendar.

It is free to submit your calendar items online. (Note: Our partner, CitySpark, also offers promotion options for better presentation on the online-only calendar for a fee.)

The deadline for submissions will be Thursday, Oct. 10. For questions, email festivals@dailyherald.com.
