Elgin History Museum exhibit celebrates Elgin Symphony’s 75th anniversary

An exhibit exploring the history of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra opens Friday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m., at the Elgin History Museum, 360 Park St. in Elgin.

From its start as a community orchestra that performed at Elgin High School, to becoming an award-winning, professional symphony orchestra, the exhibit will cover the ESO’s 75-year history and commitment to the Elgin community, spanning five music directors and a multitude of memories.
