Scouts collect school supplies for Grant-A-Wish
The Scouts of Troops 399B and 399G sponsored a school supply drive at their charter partner churches — St. Hubert Church in Hoffman Estates and St. Matthew Church in Schaumburg.
Through their efforts, the Scout collected more than 1,200 items and $300 in cash donations. Thirty cases of supplies included items for kindergarten through high school students.
All of the items were delivered to Grant-A-Wish, Inc., a nonprofit organization, based in Chicago. This is the 34th year Troop 399 has supported the efforts of the Grant-A-Wish Foundation.
