Parlor Doughnuts opening in Chicago area
Calling all doughnut and coffee lovers.
Parlor Doughnuts is coming to the Chicago area. Two locations are currently in development: One at 227 Weber Road in Bolingbrook (slated to open in the Fall of 2024) and the other at 1301 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows (slated to open early 2025).
Parlor, known for their famous layered doughnuts, has a fast-growing fan base all over America. Parlor’s layered doughnut flavors include French toast, maple bacon, cookies 'n cream, churro, coconut cream filled, strawberry shortcake, Dreamsicle and many more (including hints at a custom “Chicago-style” doughnut).
In addition to layered doughnuts, Parlor offers gourmet coffee drinks, and an array of breakfast items including vegan and gluten-friendly options, keto-friendly products, and even dog doughnuts for everyone’s favorite four-legged friends. Be sure to check out Parlor’s full menu.
Parlor Doughnuts was founded in Evansville, Indiana, in 2019 by Darrick Hayden, his son Noah Hayden, and restaurateur Josh Tudela. Chicago area resident, Haley Bodine, was introduced to the brand soon after their first shop’s doors opened in 2019, during a business trip to Evansville.
She says, “I instantly became a raving fan of the coffee and doughnuts and never came back to Chicago after a business trip without a box for my family. I’m thrilled to be able to introduce Chicagoland — a place that appreciates community, hospitality, and delicious food — to Parlor!”
Bodine says she hopes to create a place that warms up the world a little bit for every person who walks through the doors.
“Most people are doing their best with the cards they’ve been dealt. And the reality is that I can’t cure chronic illness, I can’t heal broken relationships, but I can create a place that feels a little bit warmer, and certainly a lot tastier.”
