Schaumburg seeks survey participants for Comprehensive Health Improvement Plan

Earlier this year, the village of Schaumburg finalized Phase I of a Health Services Needs assessment to better understand the community’s health needs and review existing services and infrastructure available to fulfill them.

As part of Phase II, the village now is seeking public input to help prioritize health initiatives that will be outlined in its Comprehensive Health Improvement Plan. Survey results will be shared with all partner agencies, who then will meet to discuss prioritization and agency responsibility.

The village began Phase II of its Health and Social Needs Assessment in April. The forthcoming plan will prioritize issues and evaluate strategies to address service gaps working with community partners.

Residents can take the survey on the village’s website. Registration is required.
