Music on Maple to offer ‘Bach+ Beethoven Experience’ Aug. 23

The Lombard Historical Society will present “Bach + Beethoven in Concert” as part of the “Music on Maple” concert series on Friday, Aug. 23. This is a free outdoor concert.

Meet the Bach and Beethoven Experience but you can call them BBE. They have been around Chicago since 2009. They wanted to play some cool music on some awesome instruments that you don't see every day.

B+B aims to shatter expectations of classical music concerts. Music should serve a story and be people-centric, so they try to build a personal connection between the audience and artists through stories, music of all kinds (classical, folk, original music, and beyond), and an interactive experience.

Bring your lawn chair. This concert will be at 7 p.m. in the William J. Mueller Gazebo at 23 W. Maple St. in Lombard.

Tickets are suggested and available via LombardHistory.org. For more information, email info@lombardhistory.org or call (630) 629-1885.

This program was funded in part by the DuPage Community Foundation.
