“Retirement should be the most satisfying period in a person’s life.” said Gene Flynn, ICL board president. “It’s so important to include the social and cultural aspects in our planning. The 50+ Active Retirement Fair will present the many post-career enrichment options our community has to offer.”
The Institute for Continued Learning at Roosevelt University is a Schaumburg-based, nonprofit membership organization for people 55 and older who want to stay active and mentally acute in retirement. Classes, trips and other activities promote intellectual and social stimulation as well as a lot of fun.
