Input sought on park improvements in Mundelein

Mundelein Park & Recreation District residents can give opinions for improvements to Keith Mione Community Park at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 30 at Dolan Recreation Center, 888 Dunbar Road, Mundelein.

Potential grant funding, future improvements including a possible addition to Dolan (formerly Dunbar) Recreation Center and priorities for the entire park will be discussed.

Parents are encouraged to bring their kids to provide input on playground plans.

Keith Mione Community Park is 143 acres and features two recreation centers, a sled hill, an ice rink, a tennis/pickleball court, a basketball court, sand volleyball courts, a playground, a spray park, a six-acre aquatic center, and soccer and ball fields.
