Special Spaces transforms Glendale Heights child’s room into a dream bedroom with support from Intersport

Special Spaces, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to creating dream bedrooms for children with critical illnesses, recently announced the reveal of Justin’s dream bedroom on Wednesday, July 31.

This transformation has been made possible through the generous sponsorship of Intersport.

Justin, a resilient and inspiring child from Glendale Heights, has faced numerous challenges with bravery and strength.

Special Spaces, along with Intersport, has worked tirelessly to provide Justin with a space that reflects his personality and passions, offering him a sanctuary of comfort and joy.

“We are incredibly grateful to Intersport for their support and dedication,” said Kelly Knox, executive director of Special Spaces. “Their generosity has allowed us to create a magical and healing environment for Justin. This room is more than just a space; it’s a place where Justin can dream, play, and find comfort.”

The reveal event on July 31 will be a celebration of Justin’s new space, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour for media of the newly transformed room.

Special Spaces continues to transform lives, one dream bedroom at a time, thanks to the unwavering support of sponsors like Intersport. Together, we are creating lasting memories and providing children with cancer the healing power of a dream bedroom.
