Downtown Mount Prospect Block Party begins Friday

The 2024 Downtown Mount Prospect Block Party is takes place from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at the corner of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue.

The free event features live music, food and drink from nearly a dozen local vendors, kids activities all day Saturday and more entertainment. For information about the music lineup and more, visit the Block Party website at www.mpblockparty.com.

Also this year, the first Mount Prospect Block Party T-shirt has been released. The collectible shirt is limited edition and limited quantity. They can be purchased now for $20, but prices will go up on after 4 p.m. Friday. Profits will be donated to the Human Services Food Pantry.
