Authorities seeking Wauconda teen who went missing Sunday

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a teenage girl who went missing from Wauconda on Sunday.

Ofelia Hernandez, 15, was last seen at 11:17 p.m. Sunday traveling in a white Toyota Scion on Laurel Avenue. The vehicle’s license plate is EJ70524.

Ofelia is described as Hispanic, female, about 5 feet tall, and weighing 130 pounds. She has brown/red hair.
